You’ve come home from a hard day at work and all you want to do is relax with a nice glass of whisky in front of the TV but your whisky is warm and needs some ice, however the ice will dilute it. This dilemma has been puzzling whisky drinkers for a while now and despite the introduction of whisky rocks, some people like the taste of neat whisky on top of ice. The geniuses at Corkcicle have decided to tackle this problem and have come up with the fabulous Whisky Wedge! This silicone mould will solve the problem of diluted whisky without sacrificing the taste of good whisky on ice. The mould is shaped just as it sounds, like a wedge, and it fits perfectly into the whisky glass included with this product. Simply pour water into the mould till it’s up to the fill line (be careful not to overfill with water) and place the glass with mould inserted into the freezer. The ice should form in around 4 hours or less and then you are ready to go! The silicone mould has been designed to produce a wedge shaped piece of ice that will melt much more slowly than regular cubes and on average will last for 2-3 glasses of whisky. That being said, this glass could be used for all sorts of drinks if whisky isn’t your kind of tipple. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves spirits on ice.
